At the Wild Animal Park
For families with children ages 6 and older
Is life around your house pretty wild? Take your clan on a Family Caravan tour at the Wild Animal Park and see what you might have in common with our family of animals!
The adventure begins with an up-close encounter with an exotic critter. You'll then climb aboard an open caravan truck and venture into the Park’s large field exhibits to observe herds of rhinos, wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras. Using games and other fun activities, we'll compare the lifestyles of animals living in the wild to the those of humans, coverings such topics as sleeping, playing, getting along with others, and growing up. When it’s time to offer some nutritious snacks to genial giraffes, does it look like dinnertime at home?
Family Caravan tours take place on select Saturdays and Sundays, 9:15–11:45 a.m., and are offered April–September and again in December.
